Hello friends,
Hope everyone's having a great summer so far. I'm about a week and a half away from my departure for Taiwan, and those healthy, nervous butterflies are starting to arrive. I received my first teaching assignment, a week with high schoolers in a city called Chiayi. I bought a bunch of clothes that are nice enough to teach in but that won't cause me to hyperventilate in 100+ degree heat.
Over There will remain the spot for my musings and thoughts throughout the trip, but this time around I'll also be operating my photo blog, By Popular Demand. It can be reached at ryankiracofe.tumblr.com. I'm going to try to avoid putting many pictures on Facebook, so By Popular Demand will be the place to look. I'll place reminders periodically throughout my blog entries on this site.
That having been said, I'm going to try to delete some small writings I did on the By Popular Demand site, and will post them here so I can hold on to them for posterity's sake... in a few moments I'll re-post a short entry I made during my spring break trip to Panamá.
